The New School Summer Studios

Summer Studios General Information
At our Summer Studios, we provide a place for campers to learn and create in a free flowing and supportive environment. Campers may work in both the visual arts and digital arts camps, and will receive expert help from our veteran camp instructors, Ted Ramsey and Shannan Danish. We help campers conceive and create projects that build throughout the session, and they will leave with a product they can take pride in and will remind them of their time here.

Camp activities are supplemented by trips to museums, movies, the bowling alley, the ice skating rink, and other local fun spots. We also regularly spend time in the gym playing dodge ball and other games, and we watch movies in our black box theater. Our campers have fun and enjoy their summer while exploring the artist within.

Visual Arts Studio
Campers explore their creative minds under the guidance and encouragement of Ted Ramsey. Whether it’s painting, sculpting, drawing, or building, if the camper can imagine a project, Ted will help him or her make it real. Our new facilities and plentiful artistic materials accommodate even the most boundless imaginations. For those who have trouble getting started, Ted has countless years of experience to call upon.

Digital Arts Studio
Campers use cutting edge technology to create vital works of art and design.
From movies to music, to stop motion and robotics, campers learn valuable skills that will excite their minds and unleash their potential.

Pricing
A $150 dollar deposit is required for enrollment in each camp.
The price per session of our Summer Studios is $685, and we offer these discounts:
       -20% discount on the tuition cost of a second or third session if the camper enrolls in more than
                one session.
       -10% discount on the tuition of a sibling if both campers are attending the same session.
