By way of Ohio, Henry has called DC his home for 35 years. An avid writer and hiker, Henry’s interests include blogging about human progress, long-distance backpacking, hiking the highest pikes in all 50 states (14 to go!), cheering on Liverpool Football Club, watching his wife Marissa perform with the National Symphony, and teaching positive psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. He also hopes to one day trick his 15-year-old daughter into hiking the Appalachian Trail with him.
Henry loves teaching. The relationships he forges with students and colleagues teach him about life and force him to see the world in different ways. These relationships and the energy they bring are the reason Henry has been working in education for 30 years.
