Selma was born in Tunisia in a city called Bizerte on the Mediterranean sea, the most Northern Point of Africa. She grew up in Tunisia where she earned her Bachelor’s degree and lived in Strasbourg, France where she also earned my Masters in Physiology applied to Sports. She taught French for 18 years at Georgetown Day School and Edmund Burke School in Washington DC. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, and water sports, particularly rowing, and she is thrilled to join the New School Community.
